The Graland Alumni Association was established to nurture the bond between the individuals who attended Graland and the School itself through gatherings and special events. We also provide unique opportunities to connect alumni with current Graland students. Click below to:

Project 14, spearheaded by the Class of 1969, is a plan to summit all 14,000-foot peaks in Colorado in a three-year period. Everyone, regardless of class year, is welcome to join us for as many climbs as you wish! Please encourage family and friends to take part in this community challenge.
Project 14 came about as a result of the members of the Graland Class of 1969 wanting to honor their eight deceased classmates, raise donations for Graland, and reunite in an informal setting -- in this case, the Colorado mountains. The project’s goal is to summit all of the 14,000-foot peaks in the state with each climber donating $14 (or more) to Graland for each summit attempt.
A Climb Schedule has been drafted for the first summer. The initial kickoff climb will be Mount Sneffels, “The Queen of the San Juans,” on Saturday, July 9, 2011. We will gather Friday evening, July 8, at the home of one of our classmates, Dan Wolf, at the base of this magnificent peak and will climb from a nearby trailhead the following morning. Sunday will be an alternate climb day, if the weather doesn’t cooperate on Saturday. Following this effort on succeeding days we will drift south and eastward and climb Uncompahgre, Wetterhorn and San Luis peaks. You can climb as many or as few as you like. Click here to download the climb schedule.
You don’t have to complete the climbs with one of the organized groups, but we will be carrying a Graland flag with us and participants can sign by specific peak names that will be embroidered on the flag. If you’re seeking a physical challenge and a memorable, possibly life changing, experience, join us!
