Xiao-Jing Wang
Xiao-Jing Wang, MD, PhD, is a professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and an internationally renowned expert on skin biology and oral cancer. Dr. Wang received her advanced degrees from Beijing Medical University and in 2008 was recruited to establish the Head and Neck Cancer Research Program at the University of Colorado. She is also a scientific founder of Allander Biotechnologies, a biotech startup licensed her inventions to develop new drugs for improving tissue regeneration. This is her fifth year as a Gates judge.
