Art Teacher

Ms. Naughton started Graland’s Permanent Art Collection in 1978 to honor student artists and display their exceptional work on campus. Not surprisingly, the annual induction of new art is her favorite day of the year.

Impacting Students
I love teaching projects that are interdisciplinary and connect with classroom learning. I also encourage discovery and love noticing the ah-ha moments.

Lifelong Learner
Learning and the Brain training instantly changed my teaching. I now give directions in small parts and have visual reminders and do not expect students (especially the younger ones) to remember a complicated, lengthy sequence of directions.
