Grade 2: Show-Stopping Performances

This April, second graders in Ms. Julie Lachance’s drama class invited their families to campus for original performances.
Leading up to their big debuts, the students worked hard to write and rehearse their own scripts and design costumes, sets, props, and posters. Throughout this project, second graders not only got to practice agency, but collaboration, creative thinking, and organization. Several of the plays that students wrote, produced, and performed included “The Missing Map of the Temple,” “The Haunted Candy Store,” “Goldysocks and the Three Bears (Weird Version)”, and “Under the Sea Freeze.” Bravo, Grade 2!
