Grade 7: Washington D.C. Trip
At the end of April, the entire seventh grade traveled to Washington D.C. for their class trip.
On Monday, April 24, students visited the White House, several presidential and war memorials, Capitol Hill, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the Holocaust Museum. On Tuesday, April 25, students visited Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, and went on an Alexandria Colonial Tour. On Wednesday, April 26, the seventh-grade class explored Gettysburg and attended an advisory dinner in Georgetown. On Thursday, April 27, students had another busy day at the Library of Congress, the U.S. Capitol, and a theater performance. On their final day of the trip, April 28, the seventh graders visited the Hirshhorn Museum, the Museum of the American Indian, and then traveled home!
