Meet Our Director of Equity and Inclusivity: Oscar Gonzalez

As someone who attended Denver Public Schools through eighth grade and received full scholarships to Kent Denver School and Northwestern University, I have devoted my life to serving under-resourced students and students who are socially isolated and under-represented in their schools.
As someone who attended Denver Public Schools through eighth grade and received full scholarships to Kent Denver School and Northwestern University, I have devoted my life to serving under-resourced students and students who are socially isolated and under-represented in their schools. I believe all students deserve the right to a quality education, and I believe effective educators who are culturally responsive are the key. As the Director of Equity and Inclusivity, I oversee Graland’s diversity, inclusivity, multicultural, and equity efforts. My goal is to work with students, families, faculty, and staff to ensure the school’s commitment to inclusivity as we embrace, welcome, and support every member of the community.
