Three-year-olds enjoyed class time with Miss P (Kali Paguirigan) this week when they spent time singing, playing and pretending. First, Miss P led the preschoolers in a welcome song before getting them on their feet to hop, walk, balance, gallop, stomp and tiptoe around the room to the beat of a drum. Using their large muscle groups is an important developmental step for young children, and putting this action to music helps with coordination. Then, students used their imaginations to become sleeping kittens, hopping bunnies, slow-moving turtles and giant brontosauruses. Play time is learning time at Graland!
