GRALAND BULLETIN: 1929/PART TWO

Philip William Hickey
"They can tell how the children dance, plant gardens, play the piano, dig caves, write poems, buy groceries, take naps, turn handsprings, raise chickens, and play circus.

"The underweight child who became normal, the child who would simply not eat vegetables but does now with the others, the timid child who now addresses the student body with poise and composure -- these are to be found at Graland.

"Parents can also tell of things gone wrong, and these cases are doubly significant because they call for special research. What is the child interested in? How can other interests be developed?

"Intelligence tests, health tests, report cards? Yes, lots of them, but transmitted confidentially to the parent. The child does not know. Graland is a happy place. It works! “
