NANCY NYE PRIEST ON HER FIRST VISIT TO GRALAND

Philip William Hickey
“My mother thought she needed to send me to a more challenging school because she was afraid I’d get into trouble in a regular school. The first thing I saw when we got out of the car was a tepee and a group of children dressed up as Indians. . . I was so excited-- I thought they were real. Since I loved Indians, I told my mother. . . I definitely wanted to go to this school.”

Mrs. Priest’s former students will forever be grateful she came to Graland School. She is our Wonder Woman!
