THOUGHTS ON RONNI MCCAFFREY
At the of the year, the school honored Ronni McCaffrey's contributions to Graland School. Here are some thoughts I penned on her service to our school:
Ronni crafted a legacy that will enable the school to flourish as the premier ECLC-8 school in Colorado. For nine years as Head of School and Head of Lower School, she inspired the faculty, the administrators, the students, the parents, and the alumni as she strove to create a school that lives and breathes its Mission Statement and Guiding Principles. She oversaw and mentored the ECLC; she spearheaded the ASCEND campaign that gave us not only the Corkins Center but will provide funding for our remarkable professional development and financial aid programs. In addition, she nurtured the growth of our current math program, instituted task forces to analyze more carefully the scope, sequence, and relevance of our curricula, and pioneered the faculty day-care program. She is the essence of all that is great about Graland School.
