Grade 7

Athletics

At Graland, the athletic program is not only about healthy competition, but also about teaching the invaluable lessons of participation, teamwork and sportsmanship. In grades 6-8, students have the opportunity to pursue competitive athletics and sports conditioning in a variety of ways, all of which emphasize year-round participation, sportsmanship, respect, commitment, discipline, competition and cooperation. Each season, students compete on an interscholastic team in the sport of their choice. Additionally, independent pursuit of an alternative sport, such as horseback riding, ice skating or ballet, may also fulfill the physical education requirement through Graland’s Alternative Sport Program (ASP).
