At the Heart of Graland

Achievement
A great school never sits still. Here at Graland, achievement is not just about being number one. It’s about doing your personal best.

We make it a point to acknowledge effort as well as success and reinforce the concept that it’s okay to try, and okay to fail. The important takeaway is the lesson learned through the effort (which often leads to future success). We believe skills like perseverance are highly valued in the 21st century.

Sustainability
Graland’s commitment to sustainability is obvious in our classroom curricula and in our habits as a community. Each month, we encourage alternative transportation (“Go Green with Graland: Use your feet or share a seat”). Our newest building on campus is LEED certified with a gold rating and our dining hall composts 17,000 tons of waste each year.
