Grade 2

Graland's physical education curriculum is founded on the belief that it is a vital and integral part of every child’s education. Students in grades K-5 have PE class five days a week. Through movement experiences, PE contributes to the total growth and development of all children. It enriches learning and helps students achieve optimum personal development. The philosophy of our program is to include experiences, which will help each student develop skills in fundamental movement patterns. Through various opportunities, students discover the joy of being active, and gain confidence in their skills and their abilities to perform. Graland’s program fosters leadership, independence, and positive team building experiences. It also provides opportunities that incorporate critical thinking, integrity, and cooperation with others. Below are just a few examples of units in Graland's PE curriculum.
