Co-hosted by Graland Country Day School, Denver Academy and Kent Denver School
Author of Most Likely to Succeed, The Global Achievement Gap and Creating Innovators
Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019
  • Reception in the Corkins Center: 5:45-6:15 PM
  • Event in Fries Family Theater: Starting promptly at 6:30 PM, concluding at 8 PM
Along with being an author, Tony Wagner co-directed the Change Leadership Group at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a globally recognized voice in education. He has spent over a decade exploring which skills our children will need to thrive in today’s economy, and argues that the school system engineered a century ago produces a workforce for a world that no longer exists. Alarmingly, these outdated methods of schooling crush the creativity and initiative young people need in order to thrive. Wagner will share his new vision of American education, one that puts wonder, creativity, and initiative at the very heart of the learning process and prepares students for today’s world.
