Middle School Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Burgess is the face of the Middle School office, juggling requests from parents, teachers, administrators, and students throughout the day. She has ample experience in independent schools and is skilled as an administrative assistant, database manager, event planner, and registrar.

Favorite Interaction With Students
I absolutely love being an eighth grade advisor. Starting every morning with students fills my cup and sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Favorite Graland Moment
My favorite Graland moment is the first day of school.  I love how excited the kids are to see friends and teachers after the long summer break.  Spirits are high and you can feel the energy in the hallways.

My husband and two boys are trying to visit all 50 states as a family. So far we have made it to 20! 

Best Childhood Memory
Going to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo with my mom.  She loves giraffes and it was always a special treat to be able to feed the giraffes with her.
