My job
Head of Middle School, with Graland since 2017
In a nutshell

Left education for six years to work in the business world in Ohio; returned to Denver and taught English to eighth graders while simultaneously working in school administration as dean of students.
Professional passion
Character development. “Academics are important but having a strong character is equally, if not more, important.”
Personal side
A Denver native, Marti is an avid tennis player who believes that good health affects both mind and body. Staying active runs in the family; in their seventies, her dad still runs track and her mom plays tennis.
