Kaylan Celestin

Kaylan Celestin

Name: Kaylan Celestin
Neighborhood: Hampden Heights
Years at Graland: 6
Why did you choose Graland? I chose Graland to join a community where I felt my children would thrive academically. There are so many resources available to help children find their passion and excel in learning. Graland's mission aligns with our family's values. We want our children to strengthen their connection to their community and understand the world around them and their sense of belonging. Graland fosters kindness and helps to nourish children's creativity and individualism.
Grade: 2 and 5
What are some of your child(ren)'s interests & extracurricular activities? My son is really interested in Spanish class and loves to learn new words. Most importantly, he really values learning about the culture and the beauty of the language. My son adores drama and anything to do with being in the spotlight! In his spare time, he likes to play sports (football, basketball, etc.) and has attended the afterschool program!
Tell us some fun facts about you and/or your family: We have been in Colorado for the past 6 years and relocated from the east coast (New York!) My husband is originally from CO and I'm from Virginia. We have 3 kiddos (ages 2, 6 and 9) and enjoy playing card games together and spending time outdoors.
