Why did you choose Graland?
We chose Graland for several reasons but two of the main ones were the engaged community and the focus on cultivating a love of learning. Graland’s emphasis on encouraging critical thinking and curiosity while also highlighting the importance of strong character was hugely important to our decision. The Gates Invention and Innovation Program was the cherry on top as was seeing the number of Master Teachers Graland has; an indication to us of how much the school values their educators. We have to give a shout out to Master Teacher, Dan O’Neill, who was our daughter’s camp counselor before we applied to Graland. He made such an impact on our little 4-year-old that she became adamant that Graland was the school she wanted to go to.

Our daughter attended Graland from Kindergarten through second grade and we could not be more grateful for the experience. We had to relocate to New York but will always feel connected to the incredible Graland community.
