Financial Aid Checklist

2026-27 Financial Aid Information

We strive to make Graland affordable for qualified students from all backgrounds through need-based financial assistance.*
All financial aid applications and information is processed by the external organization Clarity. All documents and information will be handled by Clarity with the utmost level of security. Please see the checklist below for the items required in order to process your financial aid application.

  • 1. Financial aid online application: Due Jan. 28, 2026

    1. Set up an IRS account
    (This is required as part of an Enhanced Tax Verification process.)
    • Visit IRS.gov and click ‘Sign-In’.
    • Click ‘Sign in to individual account’. 
    • Click ‘Sign in’ or ‘Create an Account’. 
    • Follow the steps to verify identity and complete account sign up  (requires official ID and a selfie.)

    2. Complete the ‘Clarity’ Financial Aid Application
    It will ask for information about family, income, and expenses. You can save your work on your application and return to it at a later date. Submit one per household.*  
    • Visit app.clarityapp.com and click ‘Sign-In’.
    • Submit the application.
    • Complete the 4506c form to give Clarity permission to  pull your prior year tax returns directly from the IRS (this means you won’t have to add them yourself.)

    If parents are divorced or never married and share custody, each parent must complete an application with all required documents and comply with all requirements of the financial aid process.
  • 2. Submit required supporting documents for your application: Jan. 28, 2026

    Upload document(s) to Clarity.
    • October 2025 Bank Statement(s)
      Upload to Clarity a copy of your 2025 statement for each of your checking, savings, and money market account(s).
     
  • 3. Financial aid notification

    Applicant families will be notified about financial assistance awards concurrently with notification of admission to the school. Middle School (Grades 6-8) decision notification February 20, 2026 and Lower School (Grades K-5) decision notification February 27, 2026.

*Financial aid is available for Kindergarten - Grade 8 Students. We regret that Graland is unable to offer financial aid for Preschool and PreKindergarten students.
