The Graland Difference

Go Places You Never Imagined

Looking for a preschool that teaches kids to love learning? Or an elementary program with small classes, where teachers know and understand every child? Maybe you want a middle school that focuses on developing the whole child – academically, socially, and emotionally – and preparing your child for the next step. Our Preschool and Kindergarten - Grade 8 program has everything you need.
You’re at the right place, and we can’t wait to share with you who we are.

Hands on Learning

Go Inspire

Learning should be fun! We believe hands-on lessons create active learning opportunities where children use all their senses to absorb and retain information. Immersive discovery is one of the best and most engaging ways to learn, and we embrace this style of teaching in our Preschool, Lower School and Middle School.

Middle School Takes it to the Next Level

Go Deeper

Middle School builds on the journey and allows students to dive deeper into critical thinking, self-expression, leadership and innovation as they gain confidence in their ability to solve problems and collaborate with others.

Character Education

Go with Compassion

Character education is not just a component of our approach, it’s infused into every part of the day, from morning connections to service learning to athletics. We engage hearts and heads to ensure our students develop critical social-emotional and academic skills during their years at Graland.

Faculty

Go Above and Beyond

Our teachers are dedicated to knowing each child and creating lessons that inspire all learning styles. They take every opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills as educators through professional development.

Enriched Learning

Go Further

Graland takes learning further with an emphasis on educating the whole child. Music and art education, drama, physical education and sports, science, world language and new media skills are some ways we help children discover their passions.

Innovation

Go Discover

Innovation isn't just tech skills. We teach creative and critical thinking in an environment that celebrates grit, empathy, experimentation and collaboration. Whether it’s solving a Tinker Time challenge or inventing a new product in our Gates Invention and Innovation Program, it’s about teaching students a new way of thinking that impacts all disciplines.

Commitment to Inclusivity

Go Together

As our world becomes more globally-minded, we’ve created a community where all are welcome and feel a sense of belonging. A strong community is one that accepts divergent thinking, embraces diverse experiences, encourages collaboration and values each individual’s contribution.

A Tradition of Excellence

Go Connect

Our founders believed that instruction should focus on the whole child and valued physical, emotional and character growth as well as intellectual development. We are committed to their vision still today which propels us to constantly improve and advance, as well as offer Signature Programs.

Students thrive in a K-8 environment.

Research proves it. Graland lives it.

It’s no secret that the elementary and middle school years are formative to a child’s education and character development. We specialize in the growth and social-emotional needs of children in kindergarten through eighth grade and are wholly invested in the ideas, programs and facilities that support their learning as they develop. Lower School students benefit from having an older buddy on campus to show support and care and to model kindness and responsibility. Middle School students thrive in their role as campus leaders and mentors, gaining confidence and skills on their way to feeling prepared for high school. The result? Graland inspires a love of learning in an environment of joy, where all children can take risks, stretch and grow to their full potential.

Reach higher, go deeper. Go Graland.
