Susan M Majka, PhD
Susan M Majka, PhD, is a professor at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and an internationally renowned expert on lung vascular progenitor cells in health and disease.
Dr. Majka received her advanced degree from the University of New Mexico and completed her research training at Baylor College of Medicine. In 2002 she joined the faculty at the University of Colorado, in 2012 was recruited to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and returned back to Colorado in 2019. This is her second year as a Gates judge.
