Why did you choose Graland? We chose Graland because of the people and community. Everyone we met, from teachers to parents to students, all love it there. Graland does a wonderful job creating a safe environment to allow students to try new things, fail, succeed, and thrive all while developing a love of learning. From the librarians who encourage the kids to read new books, to the Tinker Time teachers who help expand their imagination, the teachers’ enthusiasm and excitement trickle down. Not surprisingly, Graland attracts a lot of families who are similarly very engaged and interested in their kids' development. We are very happy with our choice and our kids are excited to go to school every day.
Grades: Kindergarten & 3
What are some of your child(ren)'s interests & extracurricular activities? Our third grade daughter loves synchronized swimming, skiing, reading, board games, cooking breakfast and making homemade hot pot for family and friends. Our Kindergarten son enjoys hiking, puzzles, biking, helping me in the garden, and anything to do with monster trucks.
Tell us some fun facts about you and/or your family: I am an East Coast native and my wife is from Denver. Weekends are full of hiking, biking, swimming, and relaxing with family and friends. In the winter we are up in the mountains skiing whenever possible. It has taken me a few years to adjust from East Coast skiing and I have come to appreciate powder days.
