Jake Dresden

Jake Dresden is the Metro Denver Director for A Little Help, a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of older adults by connecting them with local volunteers to provide services and companionship. 
Mr. Dresden was a Gates coach during his tenure at Graland, where he worked for 17 years in various roles including teacher, department chair, dean, and secondary school counselor. He holds a BA in history and international affairs from Colorado College and an MA in education from the University of Colorado at Boulder. This is Mr. Dresden’s 3rd year as a judge.

Graland Country Day School is a private school in Denver, Colorado, serving students in preschool, kindergarten, elementary, and middle school. Founded in Denver in 1927, Graland incorporates a rich, experiential learning approach in a traditional classroom setting, emphasizing the development of globally and socially conscious leaders who excel academically.
