Impacting Students
One of my favorite teaching moments was coaching two students to work out their differences on the playground. When they both realized it had been a simple miscommunication, I watched them process that and almost simultaneously take responsibility and apologize to each other. It made my year!
Lifelong Learner
I am growing by working with my mentor Lisa Ross and am taking in so much about how kids grow, learn and think; how teachers encourage student agency and get kids really taking charge of their own learning; and just a lot about education and the world of teaching kids in general!
Life Goals
Go back to India and work with children again. Teach in Germany (in German!)

Before becoming a teacher, Mrs. Thomas previously worked as a voice, speech, dialects and singing coach and a voice-over actor.
