Impacting Students
I really enjoy teaching about geography and challenging students' spatial thinking. Also, the lesson on tracking hurricanes brings together a huge variety of skills for students.

Lifelong Learner
I took a course in story mapping last year that really helped me to see more of how GIS systems work and how students can access that information. Geographic information systems teach students to visualize, question, analyze, interpret, and understand data as it relates to geography.
