Scientists sculpting stegosaurus … it’s not just a tongue twister, it’s a lesson in geology! 
Mrs. Sarah Jackson recently worked with a scientist at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science to lead a virtual program that capped off a unit on the Earth’s physical structure and substances like fossils. The “Sculpt-a-saurus” lesson combined science and art for a journey of discover as students used real fossil evidence to sculpt a clay dinosaur in the Gates Lab.
