Middle School Academic and Kindness Awards Assembly

A virtual assembly was held on January 28, 2021 to recognize Middle School students whose efforts have caught the attention of their teachers and classmates. Head of Middle School Marti Champion welcomed all students and congratulated them for a successful first semester.
Teachers distributed academic Excellence Awards to celebrate Grades 7/8 students who display the following criteria in math, English, science, history and world language:

  • Exhibits intellectual curiosity and risk-taking
  • Pursues learning with vigor and joy
  • Demonstrates a passion for the subject
  • Thinks critically
  • Inspires intellectual excellence in others

Kindness Awards were presented to acknowledge Middle School students, Grades 5-8, who were nominated by their peers for demonstrating kindness and compassion.
