Grade 4: Navigating a Corn Maze Using Sphero Robots

This November, Grade 4 students used Spheros (small programmable robots) to navigate a corn maze during their library time with Mrs. Leddy. “Fourth graders practiced critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance this week when they programmed a Sphero robot to go through a corn maze.” Mrs. Leddy said. “To make the Sphero move, students needed to use coding skills to make it go forward, turn, change color, and maybe even make a sound.”
During their library time, fourth graders will continue to use Spheros and other coding apps to practice computer coding throughout the year.
