Yearbook Dedications 2020

Congratulations to retiring Master Teachers, Coach Kinney and Mrs. Andrus, for being selected as the 2020 yearbook honorees!
Coach Dick Kinney
Coach Kinney has been coaching kids of all different ages here at Graland for 33 years. Whether he is reading a novel or coaching kids on the basketball court, on the baseball field, or teaching us all good sportsmanship, Coach Kinney has made an impact on all of our lives. He has been an extremely successful basketball coach (especially for the 8th grade) and has helped all of us with our athletic skills. When walking around campus, he always has a smile on his face. You are an inspiration to the Graland Community and will be missed greatly!

Mrs. Andrean Andrus
Mrs. Andrus has been helping students paint their futures at Graland since 1981. During her career teaching art in 8 different countries, she’s helped over 10,000 students improve their artistic skills. Since day one of her career, Mrs. Andrus has been on a mission to teach her students the arts of the world. While she teaches everything from block printing to Central American Molas, she is most passionate about painting. Mrs. Andrus’ art is not just on paper, though. Throughout her years at Graland, Mrs. Andrus’ classroom has truly become a work of art, as she has collected many trinkets and art pieces with which to decorate it. In and out of the classroom, she has connected with each of her students, giving them personal advice to help them improve as an artist. The entire Graland Community will miss your creativity and passion as you continue your journey as an artist!
