With Alumni Leadership, Graland Launches Campaign to Inspire Excellence

At a spectacular event on May 12, Graland announced exciting news to current parents about how the school will take excellence to a whole new level in the coming year with the ASCEND campaign. We want to share the story with you and let you know that there is tremendous leadership from alumni families. Campaign committee leaders include: Jon-Erik Borgen ’92 (co-chair), Adam Farver ’92, John Freyer, Jr. ’92, and Ryan O’Shaughnessy ’93.

Graland has a long history of involvement and support from its alumni, parents, and other friends. The generosity of donors in past years has allowed generations of students to enjoy exceptional programs, faculty, and facilities. We are proud to share that this year, one in four gifts to the Annual Fund have been made by an alumnus in gratitude for his or her experience at Graland.

We will be asking for your support in the fall, but couldn’t wait to share the exciting news with you now. You are invited to learn more about the campaign on our website, graland.org/ASCEND. Funds collected during the ASCEND campaign are allocated to financial aid, diversity, professional development, and program improvements. Plans are underway to construct a new science, innovation and learning center, as well as, renovate several areas of campus. To prepare, demolition of the Jones Building will begin this summer.

ASCEND: A Campaign to Inspire Excellence is an effort to raise $21 million for:
  •    A diverse COMMUNITY, rich with perspectives that inspire all.
  •    World-class FACULTY who help students reach their full potential.
  •    Dynamic FACILITIES that spark a passion for learning.

Please take a few minutes to enjoy this inspirational video featuring our students.
