Alyssa Bock

Lower School Administrative Assistant

Did you know that Ms. Alyssa Bock once ran an outdoor education program at a camp in Ohio — complete with reptiles and other critters? That early hands-on experience sparked her love for animals, which continues today with her pets: a bearded dragon named Meatball and two small dogs, Tiffany and Maxwell.

Impacting Students
I love going on field trips as a chaperone. Having worked in experiential education before Graland, it brings me joy to see students so engaged and learning outside of the classroom. Field trips are so special to students, and it's great to be a part of those experiences!

Lifelong Learner
I take as many opportunities to learn as I can, especially if I can learn through an experience like a museum! When I'm curious about something, I take steps to learn more about it — whether it’s a documentary, article, or book. I also recently completed a certificate in Computer Information Systems and hope to continue taking classes on a range of subjects.
